Regal Oil Inc. has a rich history dating back to the 1950s when owner John Phillips embarked on his journey as an Exxon distributor. In 1981, John Phillips acquired Regal Oil, and with the assistance of his son Doug, they began laying the foundation and building the business. In 1991, son-in-law Dan Baker joined as Treasurer and Director of Operations, further contributing to the family legacy. In 2020, grandson Matt Phillips joined the team, carrying on the family tradition by overseeing sales and marketing.
Originally established as a distributor of Texaco, Regal Oil Inc. adapted when Shell Oil acquired Texaco stations, becoming an authorized dealer of Shell-branded fuels. In October 2020, Majors Management, LLC. from Georgia acquired all 14 Regal Oil Inc.-owned convenience stores in Big Spring, Eden, Eldorado, Junction, Mertzon, and San Angelo.
Today, equipped with a fleet of transports and bobtails, we proudly supply customers across Texas with off-road diesel, highway diesel, regular gasoline, and non-ethanol gasoline. Our offerings extend beyond fuels to include a diverse range of products such as bulk antifreeze, DEF, gear oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, kerosene, motor oils, naphtha, and transmission fluids.
